FrankenBun

WARNING !  This is not pretty !

It's 8.30 pm, on the day of surgery.  She has been home for just over an hour, and she has been munching on carrot, parsley, roses, basil, and she was eating Craisins from the vets hand as soon as she woke up from the anesthetic.  Jennifer, Fuzzy loves them, and I love you for sending them.  The vet was amazed at her appetite, I am just grateful for the fact that I can stop worrying and actually look forward to her getting better rather than convincing myself of her imminent demise.

To everyone who sent vibes and hugs and nose rubs and ear flaps and prayers and mantras and Craisins and books (you know who you are, and I will be returning the favour very soon), I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Today has been a rough day, but every on of you has eased the burden a little.  Knowing that I have you guys (no matter what happened today), has made all the difference.  The photos above show your kind words in print, a fitting backdrop for the Fuzzwah's first post operative photo call.

And a special thank you to Simone (AKA the Hateful Cow), who sacrificed her day off from the world of Chanel to get up at sparrows, drive out to the suburbs, take her neurotic friend to the vet, have her car filled with bunny poo, her shoulder wet with tears, her ear bashed with misery, and who even bought me a present to cheer me up while we waited.

Take me Back !
